Pampering

“The time to relax is when you don’t have time for it.”  – Sidney J. Harris

Resolve To Relax

It’s a new year. Make a resolution in 2009
that you will want to keep ... resolve to relax!

Living on Florida’s Gulf Coast is the epitome of relaxation.
We are lucky to live in paradise with sandy beaches, turquoise waters,
and warm tropical breezes greeting us each day.

Certainly, one of the best ways to relax is to find a comfortable chair,
make a delicious drink and just sit back and enjoy the view.

Creating special moments help make a lifetime of memories to be savored forever.
Add the rhythm of the waves caressing the sandy shore to a romantic picnic on the
beach. Make a toast to yesterday, today and tomorrow. Relax and enjoy the moment.

Music tantalizes our senses and often evokes memories from the precious moments

Create your personal oasis with a calming bath. Surround yourself with luxurious
fragrant bubbles, natural scented candles and fluffy towels.

Do you have a special place where you like to read? Here is a selection of nooks and crannies destined to be your next oasis of relaxation.

Near Water – Lounging by the pool or at the beach on the Gulf of Mexico is a great spot for reading a gripping novel.

In Bed – Reading in bed seems to be a very common reading position. It is a great way to take your mind off a hectic day and ease into sleep.

On the Sofa – Another popular reading venue is the sofa because your body gets to rest, too. This can be an excellent spot for reading a novel, a short story, or a magazine article.

Coffee Shop – A café, bistro or coffee shop is an ideal place to read your favorite magazine or short story. Since there are inevitable interruptions, short articles or stories are perfect for quick reads, while enjoying a cup of your favorite beverage.

Plane – A long novel that grabs you from the very beginning and doesn’t let you go makes time go really fast. Have you ever been on a long flight with a great book and not wanted the flight to end? If so, you understand the power of a gripping novel.

A Hammock – Lying stretched out on a hammock staring at the sky and the trees while listening to the birds is a really lovely experience. The only challenge with reading in a hammock is staying awake! So choose your material wisely – something funny or lively is your best bet, if you don’t want to fall asleep within a few short minutes. And, if you are interested in forty winks, turn the page and find out more about the health benefits of napping.
