Mondays – Start Your Heart, a walking/jogging program for all ages and fitness levels from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at various locations throughout Sarasota County. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays – The Historic Train Depot is open for tours by trained docent members of the Venice Area Historic Society from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. through May. 19 to Feb. 9 – Paint the Light Fantastic in Watercolor classes with Kris Parins. Students will explore techniques for saving light and creating colorful shadows in their paintings; masking, glazing, negative painting and lifting, to name a few. 22 to 24 – Shall We Dance Pops Concerts presented by the Venice Symphony.
